Public Health Updates in Alberta

With the recent increase in COVID-19 transmission, Alberta is taking temporary precautions to reduce the spread and prevent the health care system from being overwhelmed.

The Circle 2021 is quickly approaching! As we prepare for our annual gathering, we wanted to share some updates with all in-person attendees.

The Circle will be going ahead as planned, in person, in Calgary from September 19-22, 2021. We remind everyone that vaccination is mandatory for all attendees, including any LP partners or external vendors. Please make sure to submit your proof of vaccination as part of your registration to Courtney Richer at

This will help us reduce time spent at registration when you arrive to assist with social distancing measures.

Important Updates to Public Health Measures

There have also been updates to the restrictions in Alberta – as a result:

  • Masks will be mandatory throughout all of the conference spaces.
  • Restaurants and bars will be required to end alcohol service at 10 PM.

In light of this, we have also decided to cancel all scheduled tours of the Sundial facility to reduce the risks for all employees. However, we can offer a rain check to local franchise partners. Once it is safe to reschedule, we will connect with those located in Alberta to offer new tour times.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we ensure the safety of all of our attendees at The Circle.

Stay tuned for further updates on this in the coming weeks! For additional information regarding public health restrictions or cases numbers, please visit Alberta Health's COVID-19 information page.

We look forward to seeing you all in Calgary!
